AlcoholEdu

Pitt-Johnstown has partnered with EverFi, to provide an online alcohol abuse prevention and sexual assault prevention, program for all incoming students. 

As part of our comprehensive prevention program for new students, Pitt-Johnstown expects you to complete AlcoholEdu, and Haven. This online education will empower you to make well-informed decisions about issues that affect your college years and beyond.

AlcoholEdu and Haven will be available starting August 5, 2015.

 To fulfill Pitt-Johnstown’s requirement:

  • On the right hand side of the page, you will see the following:

Haven & AlcoholEdu (Johnstown)
Haven is a prevention program that explores key issues associated with sexual assault and relationship violence. AlcoholEdu provides you with information and feedback and empowers you to make well-informed decisions. Haven & AlcoholEdu are required to be completed by all incoming students.

  • Please click on the appropriate link to complete the course
  • Complete Part 1 of Haven and AlcoholEdu prior to your arrival to campus
  • After 30-45 days you will receive an invitation to complete Part 2 of Haven and AlcoholEdu which must be completed by October 12, 2015

  • You may take the course in multiple sittings.
  • The course may include surveys to help personalize your experience and measure students’ attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are confidential; the school will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will never see individual students’ answers.
  • Should you experience problems, technical support is available 24/7 and can be accessed from the “Help” link within the course.
